SERRA TERROR
JUNE 6 & 7 2026
The Serra Terror is a team challenge held in the Grampians National Park on the King’s Birthday Long Weekend in June.
This year the committee has made a few changes to make the event more accessible and affordable. Instead of a minimum of 4 people on the track at all times, this has been reduced to 3. To assist families, we are also offering a discounted under 18 registration fee.
Over two days teams battle the terrain and the elements as they hike, run or scramble from 12 to 35km each day.
Participants can enter as either an:
Endurance Team: Three to eight members who will attempt to complete the course in its entirety. Your team works together, with everyone aiming to complete the full course, sharing the distance and the challenge across the weekend.
or
Relay Team: Three to eight members who are interchangeable at checkpoints. Switch teammates at checkpoints and choose the legs that suit you best – perfect for mixed abilities, first-timers or anyone wanting a flexible approach.
The entry fee is $275 per person (early bird) or $175 for under 18’s. From April 1, the adult fee increases to $300 per person.
The course changes yearly to maximise the breathtaking scenery and to ensure that every year is a new challenge for our many return teams.
The course traditionally has a mix of single track, open four-wheel drive tracks, hills and flats.
